Bergdorf Goodman’s merchandising team consists of Assistant Buyers, (Level 1 and Level 2), Associate Buyers, Buyers, Associate and VP Divisional Merchandise Managers, and other support positions. Bergdorf Goodman’s Merchant team is known for Fashion Leadership. Be first, be best.

The Selling and Selling Management team define and manage our business to exceed the expectations of our customers. Selling at Bergdorf Goodman are those with impeccable taste, and unrelenting standards. Selling Management
Our Selling Management team fosters an environment where Associates are treated with dignity and respect. The team consists of Group, Floor and Department Managers who coach and develop the Sales Team cultivating partnerships with our vendors and other resources. Other specialized and Business Manager positions are also available.

Managing the business for long term growth is under the watchful eye of the Finance team. Business and Finance analysts manage expenses while the Merchandise Planning division executives work with the Merchant team to balance risk, opportunity and develop growth businesses.

Human Resources
People are the strength of any organization and Bergdorf Goodman’s Human Resources team manages this valuable resource through ongoing recruitment, training and education, and career development. HR generalist positions such as HR Manager and HR coordinator are part of the team. The Manager of Training and Asstistant Manager of Merchant Development are positions that focus on developing the skills to enable Associates to effectively participate in the business.

Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations
This division defines Bergdorf Goodman’s position as a Fashion Leader through developing a calendar of special in store events, producing the BG Magazine, creating direct mail and coordinating the internal marketing to our clients. Positions in this division include Managers for Special Events, Public Relations, Marketing, as well as other creative based positions such as Sr. Art Director and Advertising Production Manager-- to name a few.

Operations, Food Services, Loss Prevention
The Operations Division encompasses Stock, Inventory Control, Food Services, IT, and Loss Prevention. These areas not only support the selling functions, but ensure the environment for our Clients and Associates.

Visual and Fashion Merchandising
The visual team and Fashion office set the tone for the way our merchandise is selected and presented to our clients, with a clear message that differentiates us from our competitors. Positions include those within the Interiors, Windows, Fashion office and Store Design. With the many creative and diverse areas of responsibility within this division, Bergdorf Goodman encourages and rewards initiative and thought.
